Ronit revealed, “I was briefly told that this is a three-month role, you have to salt and pepper your hair. Ekta Kapoor said that you have to do it because no other actor at this age wants to do it with their hair. She wanted a young actor to play an older man to get a young look like Richard Gere. She said you have to work 12 hours with both of us managing the show. From PM to 7 PM we used to shoot for Kyunki and then from evening till morning we used to shoot for Kasautii. After a week of shooting I said, ‘Hello, I haven’t gone home for a week. 24 hours’ and he Said, ‘Yeah, 12 and 12’ so it’s 24 hours.”
