Tilottama Shome Nothing new to praise. His 20-year career is filled with memorable performances in brave indie films, be it Monsoon Wedding (2001), Kissa (2015) or Sir (2020). But the actress, who has been praised for her performance in The Night Manager, admits that the praise makes her awkward. “I think most of us [feel that way], Isn’t it? There are very few people who grow up getting praised all the time. So, it’s bound to make any one of us who grew up in the shadows, [feel odd when praised],” that is the reason.
