Filmmaker Rohit Shetty, who has entertained audiences with his comedy films and action thrillers, and also hosted ‘Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi’. is all set to entertain the audience with its OTT debut.
Shetty will be seen in the show ‘Mission Frontline’, which takes a peek into the lives of the armed forces deployed on the borders. Rana Daggubati and Sara Ali Khan have previously appeared in the show.
He will step in as a Special Operations Group soldier and experience how the unit lives and takes training in the difficult locations where they are stationed. The show has been shot in and around Srinagar.
The show’s director Kunal Kochhar said that Rohit Shetty is synonymous with action, so no one can be more qualified than him. Kochhar said, “Rohit Shetty’s films exude patriotism, courage and zeal and no one can be a better fit for ‘Mission Frontline’ than him.”
Sharing his experience, he said: “Shooting in the picturesque areas of Srinagar with the Special Unit was an absolutely surreal experience and Rohit’s presence added so much energy to it. ‘Mission Frontline’ will premiere on January 20 on Discovery+.
