Elon Musk has again claimed his position as the world’s richest person, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
The index is a daily ranking of the world’s richest people. Details about the calculations in the net worth analysis are provided on each billionaire’s profile page. Figures are updated at the end of each trading day in New York.

In December 2022, Bernard Arnault, CEO of French luxury brand Louis Vuitton, reportedly overtook the CEOs of Tesla and Twitter when he was in second place for more than two months.
The increase in Musk’s wealth can partly be attributed to the latest surge in Tesla stock prices. Data shows that there has been an increase of about 25 per cent in the last one month.
As of Tuesday, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Musk’s net worth stood at approximately US$187.1 billion, with Arnault’s at US$185.3 billion.
