The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported that an earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale occurred 48 km south-southwest of Peru’s Alianza Christiana on Monday.

Peru is a country in western South America.

The USGS reported that the earthquake occurred at 03:11:49 (UTC+05:30) and had a depth of 108.3 km on Monday in Alianza Christiana, Peru.

The epicenter of the earthquake was 3.868°S and 76.622°W, respectively.
